Another Funeral

I had to attend a funeral last week, the first since my mother's this past winter. I was OK until we sang a hymn and I found I just could not sing.

It is very soon to be going to another funeral. Give yourself a break.

Music is one of those emotional triggers that tends to bring all of us to our knees especially when that music has a connection to the person who died.

Overall, I think you're expecting more of yourself than is necessary so soon after your mother's death.. A mother dying is a very big deal. Give yourself time.
